基於國際自動駕駛發展趨勢與我國資通訊產業優勢及缺口, 本技術在於發展3D光達環周感知系統,用於建立車規等級之環周感知能力,並開發具前瞻性的應用。

工研院3D光達環周感知技術為台灣首套針對自動駕駛車輛開發之感知系統產品,利用雷射光束對周遭進行環周高頻掃描,其抗環境干擾能力與物體解析能力介於影像與雷達之間,同時具有兩者之優點,再透過機器學習之演算法處理,可在有限的資訊內辨識出物件,提供自駕車可靠的視野辨識能力。

創新結合路側端設備,可用於偵測與辨識市區特定路口之高密集度車流量,如機車瀑布,可解決現有車流偵測產品無法辨識的問題,並傳送交通流量資訊給相關需求者。

特色與創新

ITRI 3D光達環周感知系統除了提供一般影像所沒有的抗環境干擾偵測資訊外, 還具備物件偵測、辨識與追蹤之能力,可有效針對不同應用需求進行客製化,大幅提高環境感知的穩定性。

應用與效益

可用於自動駕駛車輛之環境周遭物體感知,降低因環境因素而導致的物體誤判率,並可用於一般道路車流量偵測,做為智慧交通管理的基礎感測設施。
