智能可攜式UVC-LED流動水模組技術

一般市售汞淨水系統有汞毒性、體積大、不耐開關、散熱不易等問題,且根據《水俁公約》2020 年起將全面禁止生產及進出口含汞產品;再者,Water.org 資料顯示截至2018年全球仍有8.44 億人口未能獲得安全飲用水,每90 秒即有一名兒童死於水相關之疾病。工研院開發殺菌率99.9% 的可攜式UVC LED 流動水模組,採用符合環保之UVC LED做為發光源,直接運用所要淨化的水作為散熱源,搭配專利投射式光腔與電路系統設計,解決UV 燈管耗電與高熱的問題。同時,此技術藉由水流即時啟動開關與LED 亮度監測功能,相較傳統汞燈節能50%,使用年限可達4 年。具備價格親民、使用方便、環保的特性,不只臺灣、先進國家可改善用水品質,更可協助急難或衛生條件不佳的地區,提供乾淨飲用水與醫療除菌水,並榮獲2018 全球百大科技研發獎(R&D 100 Awards)。

可攜式UVC LED 流動水模組

工研院開發的「可攜式UVC LED 流動水模組」,採用工研院自製紫外光LED作為發光源,開發的紫外光LED 系統不僅體積相較水銀燈縮小三分之一,並可依照水流啟動或關閉LED,亦可藉由電池供電,便於攜帶。此技術適合急難用水淨化應用場所,如地震、海嘯、或衛生條件不佳的地區或國家,可提供用水的即時淨化,確保用水品質。
