Micro LED 技術

技術簡介

Micro LED 具有高亮度、高效率及反應時間快等特點,且具自發光顯示特性、無需背光源,因此,其產品兼具節能、機構簡易、體積小及輕薄等優勢,工研院能夠根據不同規格需求,提供模組試製等客製化服務與解決方案。

Micro LED 之特性與優勢使其特別適用於透明顯示器、擴增實境(AR/MR)顯示器、小間距顯示屏等需要高透明度、高亮度、微型晶粒特性的獨特市場。工研院已針對上述產品成功開發關鍵技術將 Micro LED 分別整合於玻璃/軟性基板/Si/PCB,並驗證其可行性;亦將持續進行 Micro LED 於不同基板上之最佳化巨量轉移良率之開發,以滿足商業化需求。

特色與創新

工研院藉由自身技術研發能量積極串連產業之上下游廠商,共同推動 Micro LED 應用產品,至今已整合 Micro LED 超小間距顯示屏產業鏈,亦投入擴增實境(AR/MR)、車載等顯示應用技術,以加速 Micro LED 產品化時程,藉此推動產業化發展。為了進一步推動產業加值,工研院同時布局結合顯示與感測功能之異質整合技術,奠定技術與產品差異化之基礎。
