毫米波開發平台是工研院為發展5G 38GHz頻段之無線通訊技術所自行研發,採用FPGA(處理時域信號)+DSP(處理頻域信號)的架構,可搭配載波聚合構成的250MHz頻寬。本產品亦提供即時雙向通訊功能,可進行通道量測之實務評估,為驗證5G無線通訊軟體演算法功能之最佳開發工具。

由於5G無線通訊的頻段目前尚未底定,本產品提供高彈性與擴充性的介面與架構。不僅基頻信號處理容易修改,中頻到射頻的介面更可依不同的研發需求切換射頻的頻段,適合早期投入5G無線通訊領域的研發人員使用。

特色與創新

  • 超外插系統架構,可支持至60GHz頻段。
  • 支援Carrier aggregation功能,每個載波頻寬62.5MHz/carrier。
  • 相位陣列天線:基站端8x8 64-antenna,用戶端:4x8 32-antenna(or 1x8 8-antenna)。
  • 具備beam-forming(波束成形)與phase steering功能。
  • 先進的波束追蹤(Beam tracking)功能。
