新世代通訊關鍵智財佈局與國際標準參與。

為協助我國行動通訊產業提升競爭力,工研院持續參與3GPP LTE-A與IEEE等相關國際標準組織並佈局專利技術,並且規劃與實施了創新先期合作模式,引進民間廠商的投入來充足資源建構專利布局,協助國內廠商的技術與產品更能緊密結合及增強全球競爭力。

應用與效益

近幾年來,工研院積極投入標準技術提案,不但本身累積培養超過三十位國際標準制定相關專業人才,更整合國內產、學、研各界(如資策會、聯發科技、宏達電、中華電信、台灣大學、交通大學等)投入資源,共同合作建立台灣參與4G國際標準會前會及會場協調機制,發揮整體作戰能量,強化了國內行動通訊產業鏈的實力。藉由核心技術發展、國際標準參與及國際結盟合作之經驗的累積,資訊與通訊研究所協助台灣通訊產業從無到有,建立且持續強化未來B4/5G智財權與關鍵技術之基礎,使我國從標準的追隨者晉升為標準的制定者,在全球下世代通訊市場的激烈競逐中搶佔一席之地。
