技術簡介

 新型5G D2D Offloading技術與網路架構。
新型5G D2D Offloading技術與網路架構。

工研院開發之新型5G D2D Offloading技術與網路架構能夠讓穿戴式裝置,不論是智慧手環、智慧手錶、智­慧眼鏡,隨時隨地(Proximity Service)提供位置相關訊息收集服務,包括:

  1. 提供擴增實境(AR)以及虛擬情境(VR)高階影像處理能力之卸載計算,協助穿戴式裝置運算減少耗電問題。
  2. 提供低延遲、高傳輸、服務無縫隙,讓行動通訊業者佈建小型基地台可以利用無線回程網路­(Wireless Backhaul)來降低佈建成本和維護困難等問題。
  3. 此外,透過開發D2D Offloading相關技術來降低基礎建設網路的雍塞問題,讓近端(Proximi­ty)的兩個UE可以建立直接連線(Device-to-Device Link)來進行通訊,避免資料流佔用基礎建設網路的頻寬,來降低對基礎建設網路的依­賴,並將低網路壅塞(Network Congestion)之情況。

特色與創新

此新型5G D2D Offloading技術與網路架構能達到異質網路融合、擴張網路覆蓋率、基地台網路­流量卸載、行動網路區域雲 (Mobile Edge Cloud Network)以及5G D2D Wireless Relay Backhaul等功能。
