Immune Cell Manufacturing Platform
In recent years, immune cell therapy has gained significant attention for its capability to activate patients’ immune systems and enhance the anti-cancer effect. ITRI’s automated immune cell manufacturing system excels in offering an optimal growth environment for cells with minimized contamination risks. Through precise control and monitoring of temperature, humidity, and gas concentration in a closed cultivation chamber, this solution facilitates the production of stable immune cells in large quantities outside the body. Compared with commercially available products, it shortens the manufacturing process time from two weeks to one week, resulting in a 1.5 times increase in output. This efficiency is achieved by streamlining production processes with key modules and incorporating iKNOBeads, ITRI’s GMP-grade biomimetic knobby magnetic beads, as well as its serum-free culture medium for immune cells.
