While most immersive interactive systems on the market support only single-user or one-on-one operational guidance, ITRI's digital twin technology supports multi-user interaction. Equipment operators and remote experts collaborate to resolve equipment and process anomalies based on pre-defined task files. These files incorporate 3D data charts, video, audio, and simulation data for cross-disciplinary integrated analysis to accelerate troubleshooting.
Applications & Benefits
This technology has successfully assisted the semiconductor equipment industry in developing 18 immersive interactive apps designed for personnel training for production line assembly, quality inspection, sales, and service. Training time has been reduced from 90 days to 30 days. It also helps the industry reduce costs associated with personnel travel, labor hours, and production line downtime during overseas equipment delivery and technical services, driving them toward smart manufacturing.
