技術簡介

 高產率光合微藻育種技術。
高產率光合微藻育種技術。

微藻能有效利用光能及二氧化碳生長,其藻體可廣泛應用於能源、化學、環保、農漁牧養殖、保健營養、生醫藥妝,與紡織染料等產業。工研院開發促進微藻生長之活性物質及其仿生化合物製劑,經過實際驗證,已可促進包括擬球藻、小球藻、衣藻、鞭金藻、扁藻、杜氏藻,及雨生紅球藻等不同光合微藻生長,藻量增加逾50% 外,並可提升藻體內之藻油、葉綠素及蝦紅素等高附加價值物質之含量,具應用之廣效性。

特色與創新

工研院進一步整合基因體學、轉錄體學、微生物體學與生物資訊分析,釐清仿生化合物調控微藻細胞之機制,包括調控粒線體功能、金屬離子流、逆境反應及細胞分裂等,因而建構光合微生物育種策略,該技術並獲得2017年國家產業創新獎。
