技術簡介

 新興生質PEF聚酯技術。
新興生質PEF聚酯技術。

循環經濟模式受到重視,國際紛紛投入生質塑料的研發。工研院開發100%植物料源的高阻氣性生質聚酯材料-聚乙烯呋喃酸酯(PEF),應用於飲料食品包裝的保特瓶加工製造。

特色與創新

PEF聚酯材料藉由呋喃系中間單體分子構造的特性,比現有保特瓶包裝材料具有更優異的氣體阻隔性、耐熱性與機械性能,耐水解方便加工,可製造出更輕、更薄、更結實的飲料包裝瓶,延長食品保存期限,降低50%~70%碳排放量。

應用與效益

工研院已協助國內廠商參與國際飲料大廠的創新塑膠瓶計畫,提升與國際保特瓶供應鏈的結合度,並確立國內生質聚酯領域的技術能量; 另也建立上游料源合成廠商與下游應用加工廠商產業鏈,同步鏈結市場與品牌,優化聚酯產業結構,厚植我國新興生質聚酯產業軟實力。
