Abstract

We prepared several novel telechelic acrylic star (co-)polymers using living free radical polymerization methods. The end-functional groups of these polymers can be O-C(=O)CH=CH2. Their molecular weight distributions are all smaller than 1.3. These telechelic polymers can be used as chain-extending agents, coupling agents and cross-linking agents, resulting better weatherability and transparency in the final products.
