技術名稱: 微霧化器

技術簡介

根據美國食品暨藥物管理局(FDA)指出,吸入式的醫療設備,其所產生的藥物粒徑需在3~5 μm以下才能確保有效達到肺泡並直接由人體吸收,以提昇藥物的作用效率。本計畫所完成之新型霧化器結合壓電材料與微機電製程所完成之噴孔片,成功地以低耗能的技術產生5μm以下的霧化粒徑。目前系統包含霧化晶片、驅動電路、機構設計皆已完成,並完成粒徑量測與可靠度測試。

Abstract

According to FDA of American, the droplet of liquid medicine by nebulizer should be atomized below 3~5μm to ensure the well treatment. This project has provided a novel nebulizer combined with PZT material and the micro-nozzle plate by MEMS technique and the droplet size has been proved below 5μm in low power consumption. Nebulizer including with atomizing chip, driving circuit and mechanism have been completed, moreover, the droplet measurement and reliable testing have been done.

技術特色

引入微機電(MEMS)技術成功研發出可攜帶、可拆換且霧化粒徑小於5μm之微霧化器,主要整合微壓電致動器的設計與製作技術、微噴孔片元件及微細機構裝配技術,其操作頻率約在100~200 kHz且無需風扇帶動,可大幅減少其耗電量與噪音,此微霧化器將可改善目前商用產品之缺點,提昇藥物作用效率。
