技術名稱: 充電電池容量及健康狀態估測方法

技術簡介

本發明為一種充電電池容量(State of Charge, SOC)及健康狀態(State of Health, SOH)之估測方法,其係利用電池罐的厚度來估測電池的容量狀態與健康狀態。因為電池罐的厚度會隨著電池的容量而變化,藉此可用以監測電池的容量狀態。又隨著電池的老化,電池罐厚度會慢慢增加,因此也可以利用此特性來監測電池的健康狀態。本發明首先建立各種不同規格充電電池之資料庫,接著就可以對使用過的電池進行電池罐體厚度之量測,再將量測之結果與資料庫進行比對並對應出一狀態值,最後可以利用狀態值對應出可被使用者識別之充電電池狀態訊息。

Abstract

This patent is about the method of estimating SOC(State of Charge) and SOH(State of Health) for rechargeable batteries. The thickness of battery can will be change with the battery capacity, hereby measuring the can thickness of battery could be monitoring capacity of battery. Also, the can thickness of battery will increase gradually with deterioration of battery performance, hereby measuring the can thickness of battery could be monitoring the performance of battery. Firstly, the database of batteries should be established for different specification rechargeable batteries, and then the can thickness of used battery could be measured, finally the SOC or SOH of battery could be defined by comparison the can thickness of used battery and database.
