技術簡介

3GPP Release 8 RRC Connected Mode具備Handover 及Measurement Report等功能，可提供UE進行Connected Mode的RRC連線功能，而3GPP Release 8 RRC Idle Mode具備PLMN selection 及Cell Selection等功能，可提供UE進行Idle Mode的RRC功能。

Abstract

RRC Connected Mode of 3GPP Release 8 provides RRC connection functions when UE is connected mode, such as handover, measurement report, etc. And RRC Idle mode is used for UE to provide idle mode functions, for example, including PLMN selection, cell selection, etc.

技術特色

本成果具備Active Mode與Idle Mode之RRC Layer Protocol技術，可提供移動中UE進行RRC Layer之HO與Cell reselection功能，透過RRC Protocol機制作RRC Connection並提供在Active Mode與Idle Mode的各種RRC Control Plane機制，開發符合3GPP r8標準之Radio Resource Control技術，可提供終端網路設備商New Mobile Access網路RRC Layer之解決方案。
