技術名稱: 用於肺癌預後之預測模型

技術簡介

利用市售人類基因體晶片產品結合新開發演算法所建立之術後預後預測模型,可協助醫生對手術後之肺癌病患的後續治療與否進行準確的判斷。

Abstract

We develop a prognostic prediction model with algorithm and experimental platform to make it as a commercial product to trigger Taiwan’s personalized lung cancer diagnostics industry.

技術規格

利用市售人類基因體晶片產品結合新開發演算法(動態基因組的方法)所建立之術後預後預測模型,經小量盲性測試 (blind test)後,仍顯示可協助醫生對手術後之肺癌病患的後續治療與否進行準確的判斷。 其數據為:(A) Training (n=81):Sensitivity>0.98; Specificity>0.74; Accuracy>0.90 (B) Blind test (n=41):Sensitivity>0.90; Specificity>0.55; Accuracy>0.81 (C) Independent cohort (n=26):Sensitivity>0.95; Specificity>0.40; Accuracy>0.85.

Technical Specification

Instead of searching for specific marker genes, we use “dynamic” gene sets to build lung cancer prognosis prediction model. Result from dynamic prediction model:(A) Training (n=81):Sensitivity>0.98; Specificity>0.74; Accuracy>0.90 (B) Blind test (n=41):Sensitivity>0.90; Specificity>0.55; Accuracy>0.81 (C) Independent cohort (n=26):Sensitivity>0.951; Specificity>0.40; Accuracy>0.85.

技術特色

利用基因晶片對肺癌術後之病人進行mRNA之檢測,運用模式識別(pattern recognition)的方法建立預測模型,以提高預測復發率的準確性,以解決目前臨床醫師對於癌症的診斷分期及治療,以及對治療預後之預測準確性不足之問題。
