技術名稱: 波浪發電浮子運動同相位之控制實現技術

技術簡介

利用本技術實現波浪發電系統之閉鎖控制,被動達成浮子運動週期與外界波浪週期一致之效果。因波浪發電系統之最佳效率發生於系統與波浪共振,而利用閉鎖控制之實現,可使系統運動週期與波浪外力同相位,為波能擷取之理論次最佳解,可以提高系統於共振週其後長週期波之效率;而由於長週期波所含之能量較高,因此可以有效提高總發電量。閉鎖控制乃為國際研究者Budal於1976提出,並嘗試應用於所發展之波浪氣壓發電系統。本授權技術重點在於實現閉鎖控制之具體作法,以及其相關控制感測訊號擷取與閉鎖控制之操作,並以應用於工研院所開發之點吸收式波浪發電系統為範例。

Abstract

This technology realizes latching control for WEC and passively makes buoy’s motion to be in phase with external wave. Since the point absorber type WEC has its best efficiency at resonance, one can force the buoy’s motion to be in phase with external force by latching and achieve sub-optimum solution for wave energy absorption. As a result, the energy conversion efficiency is improved for wave period larger than system resonant period. In addition, the annual power generation is increased because waves with longer periods possess larger energy. Latching control was first proposed by Budal in 1976 and he also attempted to implement latching control to his pneumatic power-take-off during the same time. The main focus of this technology is the practical realization of latching control, including sensing, latch mechanism and operation. It is reinforced with result from ITRI’s WEC with hydraulic power-take-off and latching control.

技術規格

1.調整浮子運動特性,當波浪週期大於系統共振週期時,使浮子速度與波浪外力同相位。 2.增加系統對波浪週期大於系統共振週期之波能吸收效率達1%~2%,提升系統之年總發電量。

技術特色

本技術具體實現波浪發電之閉鎖控制,並實際應用於工研院所開發之點吸收式波浪發電系統。藉由閉鎖控制之實現,達成長週期波擷能效率之提升。因閉鎖控制為被動式之控制方法,發電系統無需提供致動之能量。
