技術名稱: 超薄玻璃卷軸式設備與製程開發

技術簡介

運用自行設計開發之捲對捲設備與製程技術,已可處理厚度100μm之超薄可撓玻璃。結合超薄可撓玻璃可捲繞的特性,運用目前已開發之三套創新性捲對捲製程設備(即R2R雷射成形設備、R2R網印設備、以及R2R貼合設備等),可捲對捲生產100μm的超薄玻璃觸控元件,其在整合了0.4mm厚的大金剛玻璃Cover Lens後,整組觸控模組厚度可降至0.6mm以內,此種完整的方案未來可提供業者發展可靠且具備生產成本優勢的相關產品。

Abstract

The innovation of ITRI’s Roll-to-Roll Technology is capable of handling 100μm ultra-thin flexible glass with in-house designed Roll-to-Roll equipment. Integrating the characteristics of ultra-thin flexible glass, ITRI has built three machines where 100μm glass spools can be handled in Roll-to-Roll process, namely R2R Laser Patterning, R2R Screen Printer, and R2R Laminator. By applying this innovative Roll-to-Roll Technology on 100μm flexible glass, the total thickness of touch panel modules with 0.4mm Gorrila cover lens can be reduced to 0.6mm only. This complete solution provides a reliable and cost-effective manufacture approach making commercialization in the near future.
