技術名稱: 高電壓鋰鎳錳正極材料技術

技術簡介

過渡金屬元素摻雜後的尖晶石系列材料LiMxMn2-xO4 (M = Cr, Co, Fe, Ni, Cu等)具有4.5 V以上的電壓平台,能夠滿足高電壓的需求,在這些材料中,由於LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 具有高工作電壓 (~ 4.7 V)、高能量密度、長循環壽命及耐高速率充放電等特性,近年來廣泛地受到研究。研究發現,充放電過程中主要存在一4.7 V左右之平台,對應Ni2+/Ni4+的氧化/還原過程,可以基本消除對應於Mn3+/Mn4+的氧化/還原過程的4 V平台,而且其具有良好的循環性能及相當高的比容量 (146.7 mAh/g),是高功率鋰離子電池的首選正極材料。

Abstract

Since LiCoO2 has economic and environmental issues, intensive research has been directed towards the development of alternative low cost, environmentally friendly cathode materials as possible replacement of LiCoO2. In addition, to meet the increasing demand for effective electrical energy storage devices for transportation applications such as EVs, PHEVs, E-scooters and E-bikes, the volumetric and gravimetric energy density of the Li-ion cells must be improved. Among them, spinel LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 material is one of the promising and attractive cathode materials for next generation lithium-ion batteries because of its high voltage (4.7 V), acceptable stability, and good cycling performance.
