技術名稱: 化學迴路產氫技術

技術簡介

化學迴路技術泛指利用化學物質在不同反應器,發生不同的化學變化,當完成所有反應後,化學結構回到最初狀態的一種迴路。因此,化學迴路係指將燃料轉換成能源(熱能/氫氣),同時分離收集二氧化碳之技術。

Abstract

Chemical looping technology typically employs a dual reactors system where a metal oxide is employed as a bed material providing the oxygen for combustion in the fuel reactor. The reduced metal is then transferred to the air reactor and re-oxidized before being reintroduced back to the fuel reactor completing the loop. This technology can improve energy efficiency and simultaneously reduce carbon emissions of carbon dioxide capture technologies and generate high-quality heat and/or H2.

技術規格

目前本技術以建立一座30Kwt化學迴路新燃燒系統試驗廠,並利用甲烷作為燃料進行產氫與同時進行二氧化碳捕獲,燃料轉化率可達99%以上,CO2濃度可達98%以上,氫氣濃度可達95%以上。

Technical Specification

This project has used the operation of 30kWt chemical looping process of new combustion bench scale of ITRI. Using methane as fuel to product hydrogen with simultaneous capture of carbon dioxide at the same time, fuel conversion ratef up to 99%, CO2 concentrations up to 98%, the hydrogen concentration can reach more than 95%.

技術特色

化學迴路為一同時具有高能源效率和低成本二氧化碳捕獲技術,再將上其所有反應過程溫度最高為950oC,因此具有技術潔淨度高(低NOX),並且利用水蒸汽進行氧化反應即可產生高純度氫氣,未來在綠能產業技術上相當具有競爭力。

應用範圍

主要以製程上需要氫氣或熱電的廠商為主,並且本技術因應未來減碳議題下,同時已具備CO2捕獲能力,可以提供一完整高效率綠能製程,可廣泛應用在石化業/氣體業/鋼鐵業/發電業/製造業。
