技術名稱: 鈣迴路捕獲二氧化碳技術

技術簡介

鈣迴路捕獲二氧化碳技術的原理係利用石灰(CaO)在溫度600~700℃下進行碳酸化反應,吸附煙氣中的二氧化碳(CO2)形成石灰石(CaCO3);再將CaCO3在溫度850~950℃經由?燒反應,再生為CaO及高濃度CO2。利用碳酸化與?燒兩種反應循環操作,而將CO2捕獲並濃縮成為濃度95%以上的CO2。

Abstract

The principle of calcium looping technology is CaO reacts with CO2 of flue gas to produce CaCO3, called carbonation reaction, at the temperature of 600 to 700 ℃, and CaCO3 is calcinated at the temperature of 850 to 950℃, called calcination reaction, to generate CaO and concentrated CO2. This looping technology based on the cyclic carbonation and calcination reaction can capture CO2 and the concentration of CO2 will reach more than 95%.

技術特色

1.石灰石蘊藏量豐富而價廉,石灰石?燒後之石灰吸附劑有非常高的吸附容量(786 mg CO2/g CaO)。 2.鈣迴路捕獲CO2系統所產生的高溫廢熱可有效回收與應用,使能耗較傳統化學吸收法低。 3.失去活性的石灰石吸附劑可作為水泥廠原料、發電廠排煙脫硫吸收劑或再利用製成輕質碳酸鈣應用於造紙廠生產紙漿。 4.鈣迴路捕獲CO2技術具有吸附劑成本低及吸附量高、高溫廢熱可回收再用、失活吸附劑可利用的特點,其捕獲成本及捕獲效率較化學吸收法具競爭力。 5.已完成鈣迴路捕獲二氧化碳Bench Scale系統技術的開發,目前正進行1.9MWt鈣迴路捕獲先導試驗廠測試與技術驗證研究,以建立長期運轉可靠度技術。
