技術簡介
工研院結合投射式觸控元件技術與FlexUPTM技術,使用現行片對片傳送製程,生產薄型化可摺疊投射式觸控感測薄膜(厚度?20?、片電阻~30Ω/□、光穿透率?86%)。相較於傳統的玻璃觸控面板,此觸控元件具有輕薄與不易破的優點,更可在摺疊半徑7mm的條件下往復摺疊一萬次後保持多點觸控的功能,可應用於穿戴式與手持式智慧裝置上,進而掌握下世代軟性電子產品之應用商機。
Abstract
ITRI developed an ultra-thin foldable touch technology employing sheet to sheet processto integrate projective capacitive touch device on FlexUPTM (thickness ? 20 μm, sheet resistance ~30Ω/□, transpareny?86%). ITRI’s ultra-thin and unbreakable touch sensor shows the same resolution and electric characteristics as on glass. As opposed to conventional glass-based touch panels, its ultra-thin and flexible characteristics allows it to be folded at a radius of 7mm for over 10,000 times. This technology can be applied on wearable and handheld devices while further providing an opportunity to grasp the next generation flexible electronic devices.
