技術名稱: 可適性OCC編碼技術

技術簡介

本技術為可適性OCC(Optical Camera Communication)編碼技術;此技術是基於可見光通訊(Visible Light Communications,VLC)技術來進行智慧型手機與LED燈的互動通訊。VLC奠基於成熟的LED照明技術,利用人眼捕捉不到的光源閃爍頻率達到通訊之效,由於其節能以及可兼具照明與顯示應用的特性,VLC已成為近年新興的無線通訊技術項目之一。 本技術為傳送端的編碼技術,透過可擴充性的編碼機制大幅提高傳輸的效能,並加速接收端的解碼速度。

Abstract

OCC(Optical Camera Communication) is based on VLC(Visible Light Communication) technology to communicate between LED lights and smart phones. OCC uses mobile phone’s camera to capture the information produced by LED in the short time. Let LED is not only the light but also the media of communications. This algorithm proposes an encoding algorithm for transmitter, using adaptive encoding mechanism to significantly increase transmission efficiency.

技術特色

目前展場若要提供額外資訊給使用者還是以QR code為主要的載具,但是QR code不僅人眼無法識別並且會在展物上方或旁邊占據一區塊,進而影響展物的美觀性,另外若同時多人進行讀取時,需要排隊進行掃描,進而影響觀展的動線。本計畫所提出的光碼辨識技術,可以利用原本展品上方既有的照明燈當作載具,不影響原本展品的設計及美觀。另外可以讓使用者在有效距離內皆可以同時進行讀取的動作,提升整體展場動線的流暢度。
