技術名稱: 皮下靜脈顯影技術

技術簡介

靜脈穿刺(venous puncture,簡稱VP)是臨床重要給藥途徑之一,穿刺技術水準的高低直接影響急診、重危病人搶救的成功率和臨床療效。但要迅速且準確地進行靜脈穿刺並非易事:尤其是肥胖、老人或幼兒病患,不易看清楚和摸到血管,實施靜脈穿刺非常困難。本技術運用近紅外之光源與感測技術,搭配本所開發之穿戴型顯示裝置,期望本裝置提供醫療院所醫護人員輔助,提升靜脈穿刺(注射)的首次成功率,減少病患多次扎針的痛苦

Abstract

Medical errors are the third largest cause of death, medication errors start at IV tip. It‘s not always easy for nurses to find the right vein for an intravenous drip. The target vessels are sometimes hidden below the skin. ITRI’s medical glasses may make those injections a little easier. With near-infrared (NIR) solution, ITRI has developed a hands-free, low cost and wearable eyewear platform for vein access & IV patency visualization, allows medical staff to maneuver anywhere anytime with the complete vasculature image right before their eyes. Quick, thorough vein assessment allows for faster, easier and safer IV starts. Verification of vein patency eliminates subjective guessing for those caring for patients and administering venipuncture.

技術特色

打針是臨床重要給藥途徑之一,打針技術水準的高低直接影響急診、重度危險病人搶救的成功率和臨床療效。但要迅速且準確地進行打針並非易事:尤其是肥胖、老人或幼兒病患,不易看清楚和摸到血管,實施靜脈打針非常困難。本裝置使用近紅外光線照明與拍攝技術,結合頭戴式顯示器,希望本裝置能夠為醫護人員,提升靜脈打針的成功率,減少病患多次挨針的痛苦。
