技術簡介

本專利及技術組合主要發展出具備低成本、高安全性、可快速充放電,利用石墨電極和離子液體為電解液的新穎鋁離子電池,具備2V的放電平台,具電網級儲電與驅動電動運輸載具應用潛力。

Abstract

These patents and techniques focus on high safety, low cost, high seed charge/discharge aluminum battery using ionic liquid electrolyze. It shows 2V discharge plateaus and good potential for energy storage system and low speed vehicle.

技術規格

一種金屬離子電池包含:(1)陽極,其包含鋁;(2)陰極,其包含層狀活性材料;以及(3)電解質,其設置於所述陽極與所述陰極之間以支持鋁在所述陽極處之可逆沉積及溶解及陰離子在所述陰極處之可逆遷入及遷出。電解液及電極組成中具有一個以上之活性物質或前驅物,能提供不同充放電平台。專利亦揭露多種具不同功能之鋁電池結構及裝置,相關技術提供鋁電池生產關鍵流程與參數。相關技術亦提供示範運行之測試結果。

Technical Specification

A metal-ion battery includes: (1) an anode including aluminum; (2) a cathode including a layered, active material; and (3) an electrolyte disposed between the anode and the cathode to support reversible deposition and dissolution of aluminum at the anode and reversible intercalation and de-intercalation of anions at the cathode. There are more than one active species in electrolyte or electrode, which can provide multiple charge/discharge voltage plateaus. The patents claim difference structure and apparatus which can provide better performance and function. The technique reports describe SOP and parameter for aluminum battery manufacturing and demonstration testing data.

技術特色

本專利及技術報告提出一個高效能低成本且可穩定充放電之鋁離子電池裝置,鋁金屬陽極在非可燃性離子液體電解液內具有高度充放電循環穩定性,採用的電極與隔離膜材料皆為具可撓性,同時鋁電池具備非可燃性與無安全危害性的優勢。重量能量密度約為40 Wh kg–1,稍高於鉛酸電池系統。單電池可提供放電電壓平均2 Volt、高循環穩定性, 與高電容量。充放電速度可以由0.2C至125C之間隨使用情境調節。相關專利針對電容量提升、多重放電平台、電極結構、電池裝置等相關重點進行專利佈局。相關技術報告亦描述鋁電池基本生產SOP製程與製程參數供產業界承接生產技術,相關技術報告亦描述鋁電池應用於交通載具之初步試運行結果。
