技術名稱: 乾癬功效評估技術平台

技術簡介

本技術利用化學合成分子Imiquimod (IMQ)誘導動物出現類似人類乾癬之表徵,包括發紅、脫屑與皮膚增厚等。IMQ會透過Toll-like receptor 7 (TLR7)和Toll-like recptor 8 (TLR8)的接受體造成小鼠皮膚類似乾癬的病徵,其中IL-17/IL-23訊息傳導的致病機轉與臨床相似。功效評估指標包括乾癬嚴重度評分、組織病理分析以及皮膚組織之基因表現量分析等。

Abstract

The technology utilizes the chemically synthesized molecule Imiquimod (IMQ) to induce psoriasis-like characteristics of erythema, scaling and induration in humans. IMQ causes psoriasiform symptoms in animals through Toll-like receptor 7 (TLR7) and Toll-like recptor 8 (TLR8) stimulated IL-17/IL-23 signaling that is similar to the pathogenesis of human psoriasis. Assessment of efficacy includes psoriasis severity score, histopathological analysis, and gene expression analysis of skin tissues.
