技術名稱: RAIBA 電池再利用儲能系統技術

技術簡介

RAIBA 是一款具備感知、思考、分析、重組等四大能力的電池系統。透過這些能力,讓它擁有兩大特點:「可相容異質電池」和「零備援的容錯特性」。 RAIBA 可線上即時重組電池陣列技術 (Reconfigurable Array of Inexpensive Batteries Architecture) 結合「線上恆電流開關模組」和「電池陣列重組演算軟體」,於電池系統運轉前和運轉期間即時分析電池陣列,模擬所有可能組合,選擇最佳配置並快速切換,讓不行的電池休息,等到其他電池能力與休息的電池差不多時,再併在一起運作,智慧調控不同電池模組,同時達到滿足負載需求和延長系統運轉時間。

Abstract

RAIBA is a battery system which can sense, think and reconfigure. These capabilities result in 2 unique features, “adaptability for heterogeneous batteries“ and “zero-redundant fail-operational”. RAIBA (Reconfigurable Array of Inhomogeneous Batteries Architecture) integrates online reconfigurable battery array (hardware) and real-time reconfiguration system software. RAIBA system, before and during operation, analyzes the composition of a battery array; simulates possible configurations; chooses and implements the best configuration to suit load requirements; bypasses depleted or failing batteries; and ensures optimal array operation and charge/discharge cycles.

技術規格

KWh級『可重組之電能儲存陣列(RAIBA)』之原型系統目前為α prototype (雛型產品在開發者環境下測試),具有跨領域之三項技術特色: (a)線上恆電流切換IC及模組; (b)電池陣列即時重組演算法; (c)電池內短路阻抗演算法與電化學阻抗頻譜 (EIS) 應用技術,可將電池系統不均勻模組間之的不可用容量減少25%以上,並藉此延長電池系統的循環壽命約相同比率。

技術特色

1. 電池陣列重組演算法利用系統軟體技術配合利基型線上恆電流切換IC,可以大幅改進電池系統無效容量25%以上,並延長電池系統壽命25%以上。 2. 線上恆電流切換IC與模組目前具有20V/10A 運行中恆電流切換能力(無火花),模組元件僅需模組分電壓規格,耐壓元件成本得以降低。 3. 藉由充、放電(Ah-V)數據的量化計算,進行電池內短路阻抗與安全機率之計算。

應用範圍

RAIBA技術可應用於電網聯結型或xEV之儲電系統,可大幅降低儲電系統初期建置成本與整體使用成本,並藉此延長電池系統的循環壽命。也可應用在電動車充換電系統,對於車用汰役電池,做最妥善的處理。
