技術名稱: 可見光定位傳送端模組

技術簡介

GPS所帶動的戶外定位服務已日趨成熟,然而由於衛星訊號無法穿透建材、公尺級精準度難以提供更細膩的服務,使得室內定位成為盲區。可見光定位是基於可見光通訊技術,以既有LED照明設備與低價光感測器進行定位,系統具備以下特點: 高精準度-定位誤差範圍在15 cm以內(95%信賴水平),訊號覆蓋範圍具可視性、無射頻干擾 可擴充性-以平面幾何圖形為定位單元,能複製擴充至整個室內場域的定位 快速建置-指向性訊號使位置預測模型訓練範圍縮小到定位單元的層級,降低施工與調校成本

Abstract

Location-based services have wide adoption in various industries nowadays; however, GPS signal achieves only meter-level accuracy and cannot pierce through solid walls or structures, making indoor spaces blind spots of the positioning system. Visible light positioning takes advantage of visible light communication to enable indoor positioning with existing LED lighting infrastructure and inexpensive photodetector. The visible light positioning system features the following: High accuracy – The visible light positioning system is accurate to an average positioning error of 15 cm, with 95% probability, and has visible signal coverage without electromagnetic interference. Scalability – The system defines a geometric shape as the positioning unit, which can be combined and extended to cover the entire indoor space. Easy deployment – Modeling of the indoor positioning system requires only the RSS data of a positioning unit, reducing installation and maintenance costs.
