技術名稱: 無線通道資訊 (CSI) 定位技術

技術簡介

可精準找到具有接收WiFi訊號設備位置的「無線寬頻室內定位技術」,將是「定位服務(Location-Based Service;LBS)」的最佳夥伴。運用「無線通道資訊(Channel State Information;CSI)的定位演算法」,行動裝置不需另外安裝APP,只要連上WiFi無線基地台,定位系統就能馬上追蹤到行動裝置位置,且定位誤差值可在1公尺以內,較目前業界定位誤差在2~10公尺,精確度更高。

Abstract

It can accurately find the ’wireless broadband indoor positioning technology’ with the location of the device receiving the WiFi signal. Using the ’Channel State Information (CSI) positioning algorithm’, mobile devices do not need to install an additional APP. As long as they are connected to a WiFi wireless base station, the positioning system can immediately track the location of the mobile devices. Compared with the industry standard positioning error of 2-10 meters, the positioning error of WiFi CSI is within 1 meter. WiFi CSI has higher positioning accuracy.

技術特色

目前市場上的定位技術普遍採用WiFi、藍芽、3G/LTE 基地台等方式,大都使用訊號強度來判斷,僅能判斷距離而無法取得絕對定位,且誤差大約2-10 公尺。工研院無線通道狀態資訊(CSI)定位系統,使用類似小型WiFi 基地台的WiFi AP 連線WiFi 手機、平版或是Tag,利用該無線通道的資訊進行定位,誤差值可縮短至1 公尺以內。此外,因手機、平版等行動裝置不需安裝額外APP,不影響使用者的使用習慣及行動裝置耗電量,只要行動裝置正常連接基地台,該定位系統就能馬上追蹤行動裝置位置,且一台WiFi AP 能進行多台WiFi 裝置的位置追蹤。

應用範圍

定位環境建立在使用者原本的使用方式上,以一般使用WiFi上網的習慣,不需要安裝任何軟體程式,或配戴額外任何裝置,就能精準找出手機、平版等行動裝置的位置。目前已成功導入國內大型企業、國營企業及國內大型醫療院所,用以進行人員及設備定位與管理。未來也將應用於大型零售業賣場環境,提供發展人流追蹤分析與顧客購買習慣分析,可優化消費者實體通路購物體驗。此外,本技術團隊擁有豐富的軟體開發經驗,可客制化提供例如訪客管理、人員管理、禁區管制、緊急救援與資料分析等應用功能。此技術可以取代現今所有的定位技術,克服其他技術不能解決的困難點。
