鋰電升級再進化 下一個科技產業機會點

能源議題強強滾,全球科學家除了研發以電力取代石化燃料外,更期望能創造出更耐久、更環保、更安全的電池動力。 近年來,運用液體電解質導電的鋰電池,因為重量輕、導電性佳、價格便宜、電容量大、無記憶效應,且對環境危害較小等優點,已大幅取代過去的鎳鉻電池、鎳氫電池、鉛酸電池等,成為包含 3C 在內的許多電子產品的主要電力源。 不過鋰電池在不當的設計或使用之下,很有可能產生爆炸起火的危險,此一存在風險不但引起鋰電池產業的廣泛關注,更讓鋰電池應用層面縮減。若是能改善鋰電池的安全性,將可以擴展更多的應用領域,為人類生活帶來更多的便利及產業契機。
