傾聽需求,全人照護 工研院研發新一代醫療器材

為滿足醫師在臨床醫療器材需求,工研院提出全新創新研發模式,發展適用在居家、定點照護、醫療院所多項新一代醫療器材,以達政府大力推動全人照護最終目的。工研院於2010台北國際醫療展中展出15項展品,包括「曲式咽喉直達鏡」、「可吸收性溫度感應水膠」、「醣化血色素檢測套組」及新一代「居家睡眠檢測儀」等重大技術成果。

現在病患進行咽喉手術,必須進行全身麻醉,且因須採用直式咽喉鏡,病患心理壓力往往相當沉重,台大耳鼻喉科醫師特邀工研院,共同開發符合人體工學的「曲式咽喉直達鏡」,有效解決以往瓶頸。

以往醫師用藥的瓶頸在於如何準確釋放藥劑,工研院有鑑醫師此一需求,研發出適用的「可吸收性溫感水膠」載體,未來藥劑搭配溫感水膠使用後,將可達到在人體內適時適量釋放目的,醫師用藥將因此更加精準。

過去糖尿病患者為檢測醣化血色素,除必須親自到醫院採集大量全血外,更須等上數日才能見到報告,再者,市面上居家可使用的血糖儀只能測出血糖,為滿足需求,工研院特研發醣化血色素檢測套組,患者未來無須到醫院,就可快速、簡易且拿到有代表性檢測報告。

新一代居家睡眠檢測儀較前一代體積大幅減少,工研院是目前全球唯一能將居家睡眠檢測儀「微型化」的研發單位,生醫所指出,要將不同檢測模組做在單一晶片上,同時要讓檢測訊號不受影響,相當困難,工研院卻突破瓶頸,讓居家檢測儀真正做到微小化、訊號不受影響,廣泛造福睡眠品質不佳患者。
