ITRI's Core Values
ITRI's core values are innovation, integrity, and sharing. Integrity is deeply rooted in ITRI’s organizational culture and reflected in its Integrity Management Principles, Regulations Governing the Integrity Management Committee, and Guidelines for Integrity Management, which integrate ethical principles into daily operations.
Implementation of Integrity Management at ITRI
(1) Integrity Management Committee
The Integrity Management Committee operates under the Board of Directors.
To oversee ethical business practices, ITRI’s Board of Directors established the Integrity Management Committee, comprising five to seven members. The Committee is responsible for developing ethical business policies, promoting related initiatives, implementing education and training programs, establishing whistleblowing channels and disciplinary and grievance procedures for integrity violations, and assisting the Board and management in evaluating implementation effectiveness. It also reports regularly to the Board on the implementation and effectiveness of these initiatives.
(2) Education and Training
To strengthen employees’ awareness of integrity, the Committee has developed training videos covering relevant regulations, common integrity risks at ITRI, and whistleblowing channels. Employees are required to complete an online assessment.
(3) Employee Code of Conduct
To foster a culture of integrity, the Committee has incorporated key ethical principles and guidelines into the Employee Code of Conduct, which all ITRI employees are required to sign to affirm their commitment to ethical conduct.
