Exterior of ITRI’s Materials and Chemical Research Laboratories
ITRI’s Materials and Chemical Research Laboratories will align with industrial policy directions, closely monitor market trends, continue to strengthen its R&D capabilities, and actively deploy new government-funded science and technology programs.
At the same time, it will leverage resources from relevant government agencies to promote high value-added key services, increase service revenue, expand its R&D innovation and intellectual property portfolio, deepen international collaboration, and develop diversified new models of industrial services. It will also enhance investment in pilot-scale validation facilities and foster innovation-driven ventures, thereby comprehensively boosting industrial competitiveness and sustainable development momentum.
Following circular economy principles, the Laboratories develops innovative, high-value, and highly recyclable materials, along with related advanced processing technologies and hardware/software solutions to accelerate industrial applications. These initiatives aim to drive Taiwan’s materials and chemical industry toward greater sustainability and circularity.
