Fiber Sorting Technology for Textile Recycling.
To achieve sustainable development goals, many fast fashion brands have committed to using 100% recycled materials by 2030. ITRI has developed an automated fiber sorting technology for textile recycling that combines material spectrum analysis with an AI identification algorithm. This mechanism can classify one piece of clothing per second and the maximum classification capacity can reach 7,000 tons a year with an accuracy of over 90%.
