Innovative Low Carbon Ceiling Fan.
With 227 million ceiling fans sold worldwide each year, of which only 8% are energy-saving or low-carbon products, the potential for growth in sales of low-carbon energy-efficient ceiling fans is enormous. In response, ITRI has designed innovative, low-carbon ceiling fans by calculating carbon emissions for each product life cycle, taking account of raw materials, manufacturing, transportation, usage, and recycling. With its permanent magnet brushless motor and aerodynamic fan blade design, this product is ultra-energy efficient at low rotation speed, while consuming less than half of the electricity required by traditional ceiling fans.
Applications & Benefits
Furthermore, the manufacturing process reduces production time and electricity consumption through automated assembly and quality control technology, while also improving Taiwan’s low-carbon ceiling fan manufacturing capabilities. This innovation was a National Energy Globe Award Taiwan Winner.
