Non-Toxic Anti-Rust Technology for Galvanized Metals.
ITRI’s anti-corrosion coating system uses specialized copolymer resins and heavy-metal-free additives. It improves coating performance and safety while eliminating the need for sandblasting. The coating can be applied directly to galvanized surfaces and bimetallic interfaces. Compared with commercially available products, it provides superior corrosion resistance and can withstand harsh environments for up to 20 years. Certified by SGS, the coating is BPA-free and compliant with RoHS 2.0.
Applications & Benefits
The technology has been adopted by coastal photovoltaic and fishery co-generation plants in Taiwan totaling 90 MW, enabling the supply of clean energy to approximately 25,000 households each year and reducing carbon emissions by about 53,000 tons annually.
