ITRI's V2X System Solution (iRoadSafe) is the first system solution in the world integrating roadside communications, roadside sensing, and CMS (Changeable Message Sign) to provide safety warnings to all road users. iRoadSafe is compliant with Wave/DSRC (Wireless Access Vehicular Environments/Dedicated Short Range Communications) standards, and supports V2V safety messages in U.S and Europe. With DSRC NLOS (Non-Line-of-Sight) and low latency abilities, iRoadSafe can increase the sensing awareness of the environment by exchanging V2V/V2I real-time information, and can provide IMA (Intersection Movement Assist), LTA (Left Turn Assist), EEBL (Electronic Emergency Brake Light) and FCW (Forward Collision Warning) to avoid potential traffic accidents.
