ITRI’s Handheld Skin Quality Optical Coherence Tomography (HSQ-OCT) is the first to provide real-time, non-invasive, easily operated, objective evaluation of skin quality. It is the first handheld OCT system scientifically proven capable of visualizing subsurface skin structures and detecting collagen distribution in the dermis layer.
This technology makes it possible to conduct automatic and objective evaluation of skin quality, revealing the effects of skincare products and providing reliable scientific evidence for testing. Further, it reduces the need to sacrifice experimental animals for cosmetic product development.
