Omniphobic Easy Clean Coating is an innovative sol-gel material, synthesizing the nano-brush structure of the water-based omniphobic nanoparticles that can be applied directly to glass, iron, wood, stone, and water-based paint surfaces. This new material overcomes potential issues of compatibility and stability of hydrophobic materials, and enables resistance of the coating to water, dust, abrasion and other weather factors. In the future, it is expected to have a broad range of applications, from coatings on outdoor facilities and equipment to coastal buildings and houses that are difficult to clean and maintain.
