CIM (Computing in Memory)

Technology Overview

CIM (Computing in Memory).
CIM (Computing in Memory).

Based on computing in memory technology, it aims to overcome the main bottleneck (Von-Neumann bottleneck) that requires a large amount of time and energy for the processor to obtain data from the memory, and improve the speed and efficiency by performing calculations directly in the memory.

Applications & Benefits

Based on the low-power and high-efficiency CIM core, it can realize low-power Always-ON edge applications.
