Casual SCRABBLE® games demonstrate robot’s ability to identify and position objects, and learn from experience in one of many possible applications of ITRI’s Intelligent Vision System
On January 3, 2018, The Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Taiwan's largest and one of the world's leading high-tech applied research institutions, announced its robot powered by ITRI’s Intelligent Vision System for Companion Robots will play SCRABBLE® with 2017 North American SCRABBLE Champion Will Anderson at CES 2018. The casual games will occur between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9 at ITRI’s booth Tech East, LVCC South Hall 2 - 25611. ITRI’s Intelligent Vision System for Companion Robots is a CES 2018 Innovation Awards Honoree and one of nine innovative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies ITRI is showcasing at CES 2018. SCRABBLE is one of the many possible consumer and industrial applications of ITRI’s Intelligent Vision System for Companion Robots.
