ITRI Southeast Asia Office was established on February 28, 2024 in Thailand.
Amid the trend of global supply chain restructuring, regional economic cooperation has become the key strategy for Taiwan to stay competitive. ITRI has been supporting the Taiwan industries for decades and playing the role as the engine of innovation and transformation. To further assist Taiwanese companies’ operations in Southeast Asia and to expand industry collaboration between Taiwan and Southeast Asian countries, ITRI formally established the ITRI Southeast Asia Office on February 28, 2024 in Thailand, marking the milestone for the collaboration between Taiwan and Southeast Asia. ITRI Southeast Asia Office aims to serve as the key facilitator to help Taiwanese companies strengthen their operation capabilities and assist the strategic partner for Taiwan industries in entering the Southeast Asian market.
Services
- Facilitate communication with local research institutes and universities, promoting cross-domain knowledge sharing and bilateral collaboration.
- Offer training courses to assist Taiwanese companies to acquire new industry trends and insights as well as cultivate talents.
- Leverage diverse R&D resources at ITRI headquarters, offering technology consulting services to assist Taiwanese companies in upgrading operation processes.
- Offer investment consultation and market intelligence services.
ITRI signed the collaboration agreement with Thai-Taiwan Business Association (TTBA).
ITRI and NSTDA held the first Joint Seminar at Thailand Science Park on February 27, 2024.
ITRI delegation visited Jinpao Precision (Thailand) on February 29, 2024.
